Brilliant Hires was created by Jerome Ricketts, a Toronto-based web developer who studied Web Development at Humber College. Frustrated by the outdated and impersonal nature of traditional job boards, Jerome set out to build something better.

He noticed how job seekers were often reduced to keywords, and employers were flooded with irrelevant applications. The process felt distant, inefficient, and frustrating on both sides.

It gives candidates a better way to present their full experience and helps employers focus on the people who actually fit the roles they’re looking to fill. What started as a simple idea has grown into a platform focused on clarity, trust, and better hiring for everyone.
