The Supply Chain Optimization Technology (SCOT) Planning Optimization Team is looking for an experienced Sr. Product Manager, Technical to re-envision the Inbound (IB) space. In this role, you will orchestrate novel product and science solutions across all verticals of Amazon's IB business - building the right long-term infrastructure to offer first-in-class experiences to our Selling Partners, Customers, and internal stakeholders. This work is high visibility and will require close integration across all, key verticals of our Supply Chain - building the right relationships, ensuring timely delivery of complex solutions, and building the right transparency and explainability mechanisms.
Key job responsibilities
1. Own cross-organization product strategies, their timelines, and the deliverables.
2. Partner with product, science, engineering, and BI teams to develop the right long-term features and customer interfaces
3. Arbitrate product integration decisions across partner technical teams.
4. Synthesize complex, technical implementation decisions for senior leadership audiences.
A day in the life
Coordinate with cross-organization product, science, and engineering teams to execute complex technical roadmaps across core planning, execution control, forecasting, and transactional accounting systems to improve Amazon's IB network.
About the team
The SCOT Inbound Planning team is responsible for S&OP planning technology. This scope includes planning optimization products which impact the entire business. The team is responsible for providing regular strategic guidance to senior leadership for short (S&OP) and long-term (CAPEX) operating plans. - Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning - Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
